Travel Opportunities:
There are many travel and adventure opportunities available to today's older Girl Scouts. Girls from Michigan Pine and Dunes have recently traveled to such places as London, England, Florida, California, Washington, D.C., Georgia, North Carolina, West Virginia and Mackinac Island. Whether you take a trip as part of a troop or as an individual who participates in G.S.U.S.A. "Destinations" offerings or the Mackinac Island Honor Scouts program,
you can see the world with Girl Scouts!
Interest Groups:
Teens and pre-teens are very busy. Interest groups are a way to stay involved with Girl Scouts, even with all the other activities you are a part
of. Interest groups allow girls who are into a certain activity, hobby or interest to get together occasionally with other girls who also enjoy backpacking, travel, community service, horses, computers, whatever!
Community Service Awards:
The Girl Scout Gold and Silver Awards are an awesome way to build your "college application
resume' " while giving back to your community. Many of today's community leaders are Gold Award Recipients. Do you have what it takes?
