Outreach Programs

Girl Scouts of Michigan Pine and Dunes Council is committed to making the Girl Scout program available to every girl who wishes to participate.  We currently offer short-term, staff-led programs in many non-traditional forms.  These include collaborations at local schools, inner-city housing communities, and local parks and libraries; as well as offering special programs to daughters of migrant farm workers.

The goals of the Girl Scout program are best met at the traditional troop level. However, our short-term outreach efforts allow us to introduce Girl Scouts to a large number of girls who would otherwise not have the opportunity to experience its benefits due to lack of volunteers and resources.
