The Fred and Florence Kiskey Environmental
Science Center is home to the "Exploring Science" Program, where
area schools and Girl Scout troops can come to study and learn about the
environment in a hands-on setting.
Science comes alive as students spend several hours
exploring the 26-acre Girl Scouts of Michigan Pine and Dunes property in northern Muskegon
County. Through this, children gain an appreciation for the natural wonders
around us.
Several programs are available to offer year-round
options to teachers and leaders. Programs are best suited for approximately 30
children to allow enough
time for full participation by everyone.
Visit our Habitat Exploration , Winter, Wonders of Weather and Magic of Light and Sound pages to learn more about the programs offered throughout the school year. Early registration is recommended for these popular offerings.
